Pumpchi Pumpkin

Once there was a pumpkin named Pumpchi with a rotten body and dry skin. He was so ugly that he was disliked by all his kith n kin. Pumpchi though was good at heart and very smart. But even his mother did not love and give him more of the jam and apple tart. He wanted to play with his brothers. But they did not in the least bother. With foul words and hatred, he was smothered. Only his little cutie sis, Mariana loved him according to whom he was the nicest and cutest pumpkin. They played ‘Gaga Goblagoo’ and hugged each other with affection. And the other pumpkin brothers were angry at this sweet transaction. One day Pumpchi was walking down the lane. When fell before him a shining and sparkling brain. It was strange but the brain talked. He said from now Pumpchi’s life with joys he would rock. The brain asked Pumpchi to make a paste of herbs, milk and honey adding a little of the super-duper-blooper magic mix and rub it on his ugly body. He said that after it’s application he would become so handsome that recognizing Pumpchi would be tough by anybody. The brain said that next he would brush the brothers with a charm which will make them ugly. And Pumpchi in the meanwhile need not bother and keep on sleeping snugly. The plan was put to action the very next day and Pumpchi pumpkin looked so handsome and super. The brothers were given what they deserved being party poopers. When they saw their changed face ugly totally, they cried and cried in vain. But Pumpchi with his changed personality and newfound luck just smiled and walked happily down the lane.
