Gone are the days

Gone are the days when we used to sit near the golden river of love with hands and hearts intertwined in unsung and unheard melodies of eternity. Gone are the days when we could not help but keep looking into each other’s eyes and utter beautiful tempting lies. Gone are the days when the rainbow of feeling and fantasy kept on peeping in and out from nowhere making fresh moves into bliss and beauty. Gone are the days when no one could stop the turbulent tides of fun and fancy, glitters and sweet poems written by Cupid to flow unstoppable and unforgettable. Gone are the days when there seemed to be only you and me and a sea of compassion and love in many colourful shades. Gone are the days when you could do the most for me, gone are those days when God also stopped to worry about us and our future lives. Gone are the days when the castle of love shone with all the jewels into it brighter than the brightest. Gone are the days when everything appeared a dream beautiful than anything to me. Now what is left I am not even allowed to remember. Nothing remains the same now like ever before except my poor dazed sick self. But now nothing is to be done when every sweet song of good times has been sung leaving nothing left. Gone are the days of pure illusion now bringing only ugly or I can say real reality. It can never leave me and save me from my fate. Now it’s too late, love. You are gone. So are those days leaving me bereft, sad and only in ugly greys. Maybe God knows the best. I do not disturb his plans and his goings. Only I have to say, gone are those days.
