Some good wisdom for a better you!!!
GOAL-–Set major goals, but follow a path. Always have a clearly defined goal. To accomplish this goal create paths which will have mini goals going in various directions. When you learn to succeed at mini goals you will be motivated to achieve the grand goal.
FREEDOM-–Tune in to your style. Are you a visual learner? Better at listening to instructions or information. Discover the particular learning style that works best for you. By tuning into your style you’ll more easily take in, comprehend and recall the material you need.
TEAMWORK—Socialize with others of similar interest. Mutual support is motivating. We will develop the attitudes of our five best friends. If they are losers we too will lose. If they are winners we too will win. To be a cowboy we must associate with cowboys.
CONFIDENCE–-Learn how to learn. Dependency on others for knowledge supports the habit of procrastination. A man has the ability to learn without instructors. In fact, when we learn the art of self-education we will find, if not create, an opportunity to find success beyond our wildest dreams.
APPRECIATION–-Harmonize natural talent. Learn to appreciate your talents and strengths and work with this skill set. Natural talent creates motivation, motivation creates persistence and persistence gets the job done.
AMBITION—Increase knowledge of subjects that inspire. The more we know about a subject the more we want to learn about it. A self-propelled upwards spiral develops a great ambition to reach the goals.
WINNER–-Take risk. Failure and bouncing back are elements of motivation. Failure is a learning tool. No one has ever succeeded at anything worthwhile without a string of failures.
AWARD–-What’s the reward? Behind every successful goal or dream is a powerful reason. It’s the lifeblood and energy source of the goal, compelling progress each and every day. Reasons can be multiple.
