Apple iPhone 13 review

It’s good news for the smartphone users, as Apple has come up with iPhone 13 and some others in the series like iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 pro, and iPhone 13 pro max. The iPhone 13 of the series has a wonderful design, sleek and sharp edges, great performance and features, and is available in 5 new colors.  Its super-fast performance, more power efficiency, and longer, stable battery life will provide zing to the purchase. The iPhone 13 model has the most advanced dual-camera system. It has a wide camera with larger pixels and the feature of optical image stabilization (OIS) which helps to take low-light photos and videos. The phone was launched on the 14th of September 2021.

Design and display: 

The iPhone 13 has a flat-edged aluminum frame having a ceramic shield glass and a touchscreen display of 6.1 inches. It has a resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels having a pixel density of 460 pixels per inch(PPI). The back of the phone is made from gorilla glass.

It is available in 5 new colors, pink, blue, midnight, starlight, and product red. It is a thicker model and bears resemblance to iPhone 12 in many ways. It has a Super Retina XDR display which makes use of OLED technology. It has adequate features for dust and water protection too.


The iPhone 13’s camera has a new kind of design where the lenses are arranged diagonally rather than vertically for the first time. The iPhone comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear side. It has a 12MP wide camera and 12 MP ultra-wide shooter having a 120-degree field of view. The phone has new sensors and is of better quality than its former counterpart, iPhone 12. The wide camera has an aperture of f/1.6 and that of the ultra-wide has an aperture of f/2.4 with autofocus. There is a feature of sensor-shift optical image stabilization which helps to keep the shots steady. It includes a new Photographic style camera feature that helps to apply adjustments that add a custom look to the photos and a cinematic mode for videos which helps to create depth effects. The phone has a 12MP f/2.2 selfie camera in the front.


The iPhone is powered by a Hexa-core Apple A15 Bionic processor chipset and a 4 core GPU which offers faster, hassle-free performance when using multiple apps, web browsing, and playing graphic games. The phone boasts a 50% AND 30% faster CPU and GPU than others in the market respectively. The phone supports a 5G network setup which guarantees faster internet speeds. The phone’s users can watch videos and play games with complete clarity. The iPhone has sensors that include Face ID, barometer proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and three-axis gyro.

Battery life:

The iPhone 13 will last 2.5 hours more than iPhone 12. This feat has been possible because of the A15 chipset and iOS 15 software in the phone. The iPhone can be charged wirelessly too till 15W. It has a dual-SIM( GSM and GSM) and it gets charged very fast without the issue of battery drainage. The larger battery in the phone will be able to pull out through the day without much problem.


The iPhone is available in many storage capacities. The 128 GB variant of the iPhone 13 is priced at Rs. 79,900 while the 256 GB is available at Rs.89,900 and 512 GB costing Rs. 99,900. 

The phone takes inspiration from iOS 15 and has 128 GB inbuilt storage.The phone measures 146.70×71.50×7.65mm(height x width x thickness) and weighs 174 gms.


The phone is priced at Rs.109,900 in India. It has a warranty of 1 year.
